Trey Shelton founder & CEO
Trey's career encompasses eight years of music industry experience, an astute marketing mentality and a tenacious entrepreneurial spirit.
He started as a marketing rep for Sony Music Nashville and then, upon moving to Los Angeles, began music coordinating for several Miramax films. He later co-founded TSM Entertainment, a music management company, which held a roster of 4 solo artists ('Moodswings', 'Balligomingo', 'Audiomoe', and 'Speedtwinn') on various major and indie labels and 3 producers (Sean Spuehler, Marcus Brown, and Moses Truzman) who have worked with Madonna, Destiny's Child, Limp Bizkit, Blur, No Doubt, and Mario.
During the technology revolution, Trey also served as a venture capital analyst. More recently he consulted on commercial lending for CS Financial. Trey was graduated by Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Communications
Alfredo Cabeza founder & CTO
Alfredo Cabeza has ten years of high-tech development experience, including seven years in digital entertainment.
Prior to Music Interactive, Alfredo founded Independent Digital Entertainment & Arts (IDEA), a digital music encoding and distribution service that helps independent record labels sell their music through leading digital retailers such as Apple iTunes, eMusic, Napster, and Rhapsody. IDEA was acquired in 2007 by RoyaltyShare, where Alfredo is now an advisor. Alfredo began his digital entertainment career at Sony Pictures Digital developing what became the pioneer Internet video-on-demand service Movielink, a joint venture of Paramount, MGM, Sony, Universal, and Warner Bros.
Alfredo holds a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University.
Tony Mariotti VP Sales
Tony Mariotti has ten years of online media business development and sales experience.
Prior to joining Music Interactive, Tony served as Director of Sales for Bebo, a leading social network acquired by AOL in 2008. His experience includes sales management and business development positions at high-growth digital companies including Atom/Shockwave (MTV Networks), Advertising.com (AOL), and FatTail.
Tony holds a Bachelors of Liberal Arts from The Evergreen State College and a Masters of Psychology from Lewis & Clark College.
